A. There shall be 4 classes of membership: 
i. Full Member (Ordinary member)

Full membership shall be opened to Licensed Holders of Category B, who are citizens of Malaysia or permanent residents of Malaysia, employed by the Company, who are currently licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM), to hold such a license, or whose licenses are endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM).
ii. Associate Member

Associate membership shall be opened to Engineers formerly employed by the Company, i.e. the retirees or the resignees. It shall also be opened to Engineers employed by Company's subsidiaries.
iii. Student Member

Student membership shall be opened to students undergoing an approved apprenticeship scheme with the Company, leading to an award of License recognized or endorsable by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM), provided that no University or University College students may be accepted as members without the prior approval of the Vice Chancellor of the University or University College concerned.
iv. Honorary Member

On the recommendation of the Exco, honorary members may be elected at any general meeting of the Association over and above the complement of Full Members. A two third (2/3) majority of members present and voting shall be necessary to ensure election. Honorary Members may be elected for life or for such period as the general meeting may deem expedient. They shall be entitled to all the privileges of membership except that they shall not be entitled to vote at meeting and to hold office.
