During the ENGINEER & MARVEX 2022 event which was concluded last week in KLCC, AMALAE took another big leap forward en-route to becoming a professional body recognized by the engineering fraternities through the inking of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the distinguished Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). AMALAE was represented by our President Mohd Faridz Mohd Shuraimi and Vice President Dr. Ravinthran Mariappan, Secretary Ts. Ee Yong Hua and Exco Ts. Sailesh Singh, while coming from the IEM side, its President YB Ir. Ong Ching Loon and Honorary Secretary, YB Ir. Associate Prof. Dr. David Chuah Joon Huang.

Moving forward, both parties have agreed to explore long term strategic cooperation, synergies and collaboration in future engineering projects, particularly in terms of research & development, continuous learning and technical expertise consultancy. Our President is certainly enthusiastic and confident about the new partnership with IEM, quoting, "We believe, through this MoU, AMALAE and IEM will lay a new path that is lined with many joint knowledge transfer and by participating in various research consultancy activities together that hopefully, will yield new horizon and add value to the future development of Engineering and Technological Professional."

This is by far, the second MoU that AMALAE has penned under the leadership of Mr. Faridz and his team.
